Just ordered Link

So I just ordered Link because I'm such a novice tuner. What is this I randomly hear that I need to calibrate my MAFT to get a accurate setup? Do I need to buy a map sensor or something? Or can I just make 10,000 hp with just Link.

You will never get your fuel trims dialed in without calibrating your maf, and you will never be able to accurately tune WOT openloop without the injectors dialed in nicely (fuel trims), also it wont idle right.

If you ordered it legit through DSMLINK then you should get a screen name/password for the link forums and they are great!!! helped me out many times. YOu should go there and ask about calibrating the maf, i read up on it and saw how many people had headaches trying to get it right, so i decided to stay away from it and run a 2g maf. From what ive read, there are ways to get it dialed in without a MAP sensor, but getting one always helps with tuning and helps get it dialed in faster.
