I need to weld the bung for my o2 sensor onto my downpipe. The place I work has a welder, but the guy who knew how to weld apparently quite a while back, and they just never replaced him, so no one knows how to use it, and since I haven't taken any classes for it or anything, they won't let me use it.

I was thinking about just going to full function tomorrow and seeing if they could help me out, but whenever I've talked to them about working on my car its a) expensive, and b) they always say I have to call in two weeks in advance. I want to do this by tomorrow so I can start tuning for infineon on wednesday. worst comes to worse I make some pulls on the way there and tune around that :D . It would really be helpful if I could get this wideband installed though, because I just changed my fuel pressure regulator and haven't gone wot yet, so I dunno if I'm lean or rich or what.

im going to paul's shop tomorrow to have him put a wideband bung in my downpipe. Slide though and im sure he'll have time to do your car too. That is, if you already have the bung.

After that we can log and get our wideband on!!! haha

I weld all day, five days a week. You kinda do that when you work at a muffler shop . I would be glad to help but kinda far for a simple bung. Just offering my services even though it kinda impracticle.

As of today I have my own MIG welder :thumb:

hey, if youe ok with getting it MIG welded i can take it with me to my bros work (coast guard island in alameda) and get it welded in for you.

hey guys,
its been some time and recently i learned how to weld. if you guys want some work done then let me know. I charge like 10 bucks to weld a bung onto a downpipe. perferably parts taken off the car is the best thing. email is quickest [email protected] or phone at 408-582-2171 to set up a time.

I weld with TIG and i can not weld aluminum because the machine does not weld aluminum.

See ya guys around
