NW Meet on April 9th

There will be a meet on Saturday April 9th at the Tacoma Mall. The time will be 1:00 p.m. When entering the mall head over to the Sears parking lot, we will be gathering there. After hanging out for a while we will then be heading to The Ram for some grub. Once done, we will be heading out on a cruise to Alki Beach.

All Oegonians that are interested in attending please meet at Best Buy at 10:00 a.m. on the 9th of April. We will be waiting for 30 minutes for everyone to join, once 10:30 hits we will then begin our cruise to Tacoma.

All DSM's are welcomed including 3000GT's and Evo's.

Last Day Reminder

-Portland members arrive at Best Buy at 10:00am
-Leaving Best Buy at 10:30am
-Meet at the Sears Parking lot at the Tacoma Mall at 1:00pm
-Leave Tacoma Mall at 1:40 to head to The Ram
-Leave The Ram around 4pm-5pm
-For those interested in a cruise we will then be heading to Alki Beach
-Once at Alki we will park and hangout for a while (pop hoods, Chat, ect)
-Once done at Alki we will then break off and go our separate ways.
 
As long as my car is running right, im totally down. I think we are meeting right there between crispy cream and sears i think it is??
 
Hey guys and girls, I've seen that quite a few people have seen this post now and I was just curious on how many are planning on attending.

It's not only to hang out, but it's also a cruise, along with lunch and another cruise after words. Please guys and girls if you could please try to make it out to this one it would be great. A couple of friends and I would like to get a team started and discuss a few events that are coming up in a couple of months. Also, I did mention that this was a Northwest event not just a Washingon or Oregon. If we get good results, I'll plan for a Portland meet soon, with in a month or so.

A couple of things we would like to discuss are:

The SoCal meet on April 23rd and Hot Import Nights on July 30th.

All that are interested please join, what do you have to loose? You'll have the opportunity to meet some great people and have some fun.

Also, for future reference there will be a car show in Seaside on April 1st and 2nd.

Talk about car shows and HIN. You just convinced me not to go.

I'll start a beaverton/portland meet so people don't have to drive insane far.
 
i'm definately planning to attend...i've mentioned it to my homeboy i work with that has a 2g rs and he said he wouldn't mind showing up...my cars out of anything until furthure notice..hopefully it'll be ready by HRR but definately by Jul's HIN....if not, heads will definately roll...also, a mechanic bud of mine is selling me a t3/t4 turbo:)rocks: ) but it won't be on before HIN...hopefully by the time winter hits again.... :)
 
So youre getting that t3/t4? awsome! Too bad i cant figure out my turbo problems! I keep getting oil to my turbo and i keep fixing things but none of it is helping!!! i really hope i can get my car running well by the 9th. Hey whitegst, hows your car comming along?

I am coming up from mcminville or, like a 4.5 hour drive. i am about an 1.5 hours away from portland. it is gonna be a long day. But I am excited about it
 
I should be there on the 9th! Check this out.... There was a news report on my local news channel in Seattle, KIRO TV, about an Oregon teen that is getting a $6000 ticket for doing over twice the speed limit, or 146 mph!!! It caught my eye because the Civic hatchback had a TorqueFreaks decal across the windshield! It's the 2nd highest speed recorded for a speeding ticket in Oregon history! He got a speeding violation, reckless driving, and he was driving on a suspended license! He said he only wanted to see how fast he could go... Did anyone else see this??? F***ing crazy!!
 
Thats crazy, I didn't know a Honda could go that fast. Glad your thinking about coming to the meet.
 
is this meet seriously going to happen? i'd hate to clear my day and nothing goes on. i know i won't have my car so why would it matter right? well it does to me. once i get my car back, i'll know who's willing to hang out. hopefully it'll be ready before HHR but if it isn't then it'll definately be ready by July's HIN. i'm attempting to put some good stuff in and on it so it wont look as much the same as it did before it went into the shop....however i'm still down to show up at this meet, except i'll probably be with my homeboy is his gs....
 
it better be going on considering i am gonna be driving over 9 hours of the dang day... anyways, i believe chris (2crazy4u) confirmed with me about 10 or so people. so everyone else will just add and add to that number. i would love to see like 20 or so of us.

also, that is crazy about the speeding ticket. probablly got torquefreaks some free advertisement :thumb:

Was it a white civic 2dr coupe?
 
Of course the meet is still on, the only thing I would hate to see is rain though. But rain or shine the meet is still on, don't forget to be there at 1 pm sharp. Hey guys, I'm trying to get us a banquet room at the Ram, but I need a head count first. I'm sorry but we will not be having lunch at Red Robin, I came to the conclusion that the Ram was better suited for us. i talked to my boy today and he's coming so we're definately in!! so that'd be me plus guest....hey sony slave, have you heard from white97 at all? i'm wondering if he's going to be there cause my friend has the 420A in his eclipse and he might have a few questions for him...he wants to eventually turbo his car but he's not sure which turbo's going to fit...he's going to buy a stage 2 for it but i forgot from where....however, we'll definately be there :thumb:
