Seattle/Tukwila DSM meet?

So, I get a couple calls saying there was a whole buncha DSMers in Tukwila a couple nights ago, on ... i think it was Saturday night 2/26. Did anyone post this meet on here? I feel like im being left out here! Lets get more meets up here in the Seattle area, anyone down?

Well, lets get a show of hands.. or a show of posts, of any Dsm enthusiast that would want to set something up. Somewhat in advance due to our hecktic lives, school.. work... PS2 and Xbox... you know.

Hopefully on a nice sunny day, meet up, maybe a nice scenic run. BBQ.. i dunno something?!? Whens the last time we had a nice get together up here in the seattle area?

Any one have ideas on dates, or that can add to the "itinerary"?

Sounds good, but we need one a little earlier than that. And maybe a little bit closer to the seattle area. I think i'll be there though for that in april.

the hood river run is april 30th... i'll be there, but i wouldn't mind getting together with some people again before then... let's try to get a date and place going... i went to a small gathering at marymoor park in redmond a few weeks ago... that seemed like a good spot and it's only $1 to park for the whole day...

That was a multiforum meet, not just dsms. I guess it didn't get posted on here. I don't know how many people showed up, I didn't go.

Actually, that makes alot of sense. My friend with an Mr2 turbo went to a meet up there also. Man, i wish i was there. Yeah.. so Marymoore park? Wheres that? Anyone for dates, plans>? Lets get the ball rolling here!

marymoor park is located in redmond... here's the site http://www.metrokc.gov/parks/rentals/pomjun99.htm... you can find the address there and mapquest it from your house. there are a few other places that we could meet up, but they are usually crowded parking lots, such as tacoma mall, but it may still be possible if that works better for people... how is the 12th for everyone? thats next saturday... or maybe the 19th? i am free either weekend... we need to get a good turnout on this one, last one i went to i was the only 2GNT and we only had 6 cars show up... but it was great anyway! everyone needs to pick a date that is best for them....

I am much better for the 12th than the 19th, I got the whole one year anniversary thing on the 18th ..... but if the 19th is the only day available, i will do my best to be there!

Hey, i know where tacoma mall is. That would be cool. But i think south centers parkinglot would be a little bit bigger. And more people in that area that would see us drive around. Any times that we could be there? From what to what time? And if we were gonna go get some grub somewhere too. Southcenter has a butt load of restaurants or fast foods places we could stop by and DSM their parking lots. The 12th sounds good. But.. i'll have to check. It might be a little bit better for me on the 19th so i can get it off on advance instead of last minute. Either way i'll try my best. Lets get more than just 6 cars though. Try to get this out, the more the marrier!

Well, good news, i guess people are meeting up at marymoore on the 12th so i guess thats the day. Dont know why nobody posted it on here, but oh well. Marymoore on the 12th it'll be. See yah guys there

Remember what happened last time at Marymoor. Right as we were about to leave, security showed up and chased us away. We should pick a different spot next time, probably closer to food.

Sorry guys... got messed up with dates. Yeah, i can make it on the 12th if we all go. But, now what happened with security? If not marymoore, i say we should do it at south center. Someone suggested near food... cant think of a better place.

southcenter will work for me no problem.... the security guy at marymoor was going around checking people for parking passes, which only i had ... they were only a dollar, but no one else had them... we were about to leave anyway... he just made it the official end...

$1 is too rich for my blood I guess we could meet there again sometime when it's nice and we can enjoy the park a bit. Maybe have a BBQ and play some frisbee or something.

Well, i say Saturday the 12th South Center mall parking lot, where the kube 93 haunted house was (right across from Bank Of America), 1 o'clock sounded pretty good to me. Can i get a yay or nay :thumbdown ?
