poynette,
I have a 2nd gen with a super 20g and greddy fmic all hard piped with vpc 550's and other asorted stuff. I want to put a little juce in to this thing for 5th gear on the hwy,(the new 5th gear for awd from tre) wondering if any one has tried the NOSzels from nos yet or any other recomendations for a wet shot. or would a dry shot be better?
thanks

just thought that I would let you know, the noszels are a wet shot, they are the new "ez" to install direct port kit. they go on the end of the injector. they spray fuel and NO2 directly in to the combustion chamber. I was just wondering if any one had tryed them yet.

I have yet to see them on any application other than v-8's where there is plenty of extra space around the injectors. I'd love to try them on my car but I don't think they would help with the injectors I am getting. They fog the fuel more and look like they will cause the fuel to hit the sides of the noszle, and cause dripping fuel. If you aren't worried about that go for it. They look like an awesome invention. Should be fairly easy to install too.

I was wondering abotu that I was thinking the same thing with the fuel hitting the sides of the noszel thing. the idea is cool but the prices I have seen for the 4 cyl kit is crazy, think I'll just finish the stroker and spend the money on a bigger turbo t-66 here I come

Turbotrix has been selling and installing the zex kit on turbo dsm's for quite awhile now, and have had no problems what so ever with it. The zex kit is a dry kit! Call them up and ask! On a side note, over at dsmtalk, a guy by the name of nano has been running a zex 55 shot on his awd automatic talon, equiped with a regular T-28 at 18 psi. He has dropped his times from 13.3 @ 103, to a 12.7 @ 108.

hey SPEEDY, you have a big28 right? hows that working out for you? how fast is your time? how much quicker did you get when added the 28?

Yes I have a BIG28! It has been a great turbo so far. I still need 550's or 625's, and a fmic so I can crank the boost on up to 22 to 23 psi to really have some fun, although even at 18psi it is plenty fun. I haven't been to the track yet. I think I'm going to wait till I get some injectors and a fmic. But all in all I'm happy with my choice. Anthony

Dave Buschur bought a few of those under injector foggers from NOS, he reported that they didn't fit the DSM injector, and were basicly useless to us. They were designed for ford injectors.

Actually I've ranned quite a bit better lately. The zex kit works great so far. I also used a 55shot with pump gas with no problems.

You are definitely running a bit better nano, from the looks of your times. I think I would be totally satisfied with those times. I know my et's wouldn't be that low but I bet my traps would be in the 115 to 117 range with a zex kit, since your trapping 112, that's awesome!

One of the reasons I trap so low is becuase of AWD. But i'm sure being an automatic adds to it. All the automatics I've seen trap lower then 5spds.
