will the stock injectors be able to support a 50 direct port shot? i will have a 255lph fuel pump, but im not positive on the injectors

any help?

edit: i will have a 14b, i dont know how many lbs i will be pushing, prolly like 16

Ya, it defiently will. People with stock fuel spray 75 single fogger shots. Since direct port is safer then it will work great. I think we're the only ones here that choose direct port over the cheap kits.

If it was a t25 then that could be a problem but the 14b could take it. Eventually though after 40+ sprays you might need a turbo rebuild.

If you spary before the TB then why would it affect the turbo?

arn't the valves closed by the time the nitrous is ignited?
if you are talking about the displacement of air baised on the introduction of fuel and n20, then why would this be different than say a water injection system?

Sorry, having a hard time picturing this.

I dont think they make 50 shot direct port systems, they are advertised on the NX web site but when i emailed them about the kit they said it was a missprint because they dont have anything like that. I am fairly sure that the only way to do that would be with a progressive controler to turn down the flow. I would be interested in the 50 shot direct port, where can i find it?

Go to the thread on the "home depot" kit... You'll see how to make a jet for the horsepower that you want, and why you should jet it at the regualtor (i think thats what they said)

Everybody is here in this "Nitrous forum" yet nobody knows anything about nitrous.

First off a direct port shot has ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with your injectors. I'll give you 1cc injectors and you will be able to run a 9,000,000hp shot of direct port nitrous.

Direct port means that the fuel is injected with the nitrous throught the nozzle. It doesn't not get added by the injectors like a DRY setup does which uses only 1 nozzle which is what I think your refering to. Direct port has one nozzle for each cylinder that shoots nitrous and fuel directly in after the throttle body. Dry kits which rely on the stock fuel injectors shoots nitrous before the throttle body. THe only thing you need to worry about is the size of your fuel pump, but you need to worry about that with any nitrous kit.

Second, there is no such thing as a 50hp direct port kit. The smallest shot on a 4cyl engine is 80hp which on a turbo car is a bit much. WHat I would tell you to get if you want a nitrous kit is a NX SIngle nozzle system which is a wet system. (Dry kits suck stay away from them, though Aslan will argue with me here LOL. And yes I have had one before) THe Single nozzle kit shoots nitrous and fuel with 1 large nozzle before the throttle body. Your injectos will only support the turbo or otherwise whatever air is entering the car just for the motor. The nitrous kit will run totally independantly of the motor.

Thank you, finally some Knowledge........but to clear things up, you can run a direct port 50 shot, you will have to run a smaller seperate/different low pressure fuel pump and mess w/ jetting to get it right. The thing is that w/ that small of a direct shot jets can get clogged very easily so companies usually rate them at a minimum of 75hp. And quite frankly, you really don't need a direct port setup unless your running at least an 80-100 shot.
