The previous owner of my car had a meth kit installed using the factory windshield washer resevoir. Obviously this took away from the washer fluid functionality of the car. This is a daily driver in NY .. washer fluid is a necessity. Also, I'd like to have my rear wiper back, what do I have to do to....

(1) Get my washer fluid working again? This is the main concern right now. I took the resevoir out and cleaned it thoroughly. I believe all the remaining parts are stock and not part of the meth kit. there are some sensors / plugs, a filter, and a denso motor on it, which is likely the washer fluid pump. Also there appears to be hoses running to the sprayers on the hood. which is a good sign. Hope I can just plug it in, fill it up and go, but that wou;d be too easy...

(2) Get my rear wiper functional it would be greatly helpful for winter time.

If it's the stock resivoir I don't know why the functionality would be removed to use the washer system.

Was the meth pump removed?

Yes I removed the meth. The washer was not functional when I bought the car. The car came with meth installed. I need washer functionality back for being in Rochester. One of the motors seems to be shot and I cant find the part number online so I may just pull it. Is there any way to test these motors? Or it it's clogged or something, how would you guys advise unclogging it?

Just so you know you don't have to remove the meth injection to be able to use the windshield washer. Really it's the same fluid as long as you use a plain water meth mix.

For a pump maybe look here. 1998 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE Windshield Washer Pump

To test them you could just bump it with 12v removed from the reservoir to eliminate the pump as the problem. If the line is plugged you could just replace the line. All you have to do is remove some of the passenger side interior panels. The line runs along the floor on the passenger side and under the door sill cover into the engine compartment. It may be a simple as a plugged nozzle. Take it off and blow it out with compressed air.

It's not clogged, I switched it with the rear pump and it works fine to the front. Ok, I knew the solution was similar, but didn't think it was the same and could be interchanged. I am removing meth anyway for improved reliability, and going e85. I'll try giving it 12v and see what happens. Thanks for the replies guys.

Sounds like the pump motor may have just pooped out.

Most water/meth "juice" is about a 50/50 mix. Regular blue wind shield washer fluid for -20 is close to the same. On the Snow performance site they even say the boost juice they sell can be used for wind shield washer fluid as well.

Good luck with the E85. It may be going up in price soon because the government cutting subsidizing. I can't hardly even get it were I'm at so meth was a better route. Too bad we couldn't have gotten together on this earlier I needed it and just bought a set up and you don't want it. LOL

Yes that's unfortunate I could use some $$ to put towards my tune .. Well if it gets outrageous there's always 100 octane down the street for 8 a gallon... :-/
