direct port nitrious .. whats the smallest jet per nozzle we can use?

I have read that a 100 shot min is required for a direct port. I got a killer deal on one and wanted to use it for spoolup purposes. I contacted nx about seeing if its possible to run 15 shot per nozzle. They replied that they can go as low as 10shot per nozzle that I would just have to call the tech line and order the custom jets. Is this safe?

It is safe but as a rule of thumb most people take some timing out and richen up the tune.

The problem isn't the size of the nitrous jet to go down to 12-15hp per fogger, it's the size of the fuel jet assuming your running gasoline at a fairly high fuel pressure of 40psi. With a fuel jet down in the .012 .010 range it's just so easy to clog with a single spec of dirt or PTFE. If your running alcohol and thus would be using a larger fuel jet, the danger is a little bit less.

Im running e85 so Im not sure what size fuel jet I should use. maybe I should convert it to a regular wetkit with one nozzle at the elbow and just run 50shot....

the AREA of your fuel jet needs to go up about 30% from the recomended gas jetting for a single fogger on E85 fuel. Not the jet diameter, the jet AREA. Basic algebra.
