How many runs from a 10lb Bottle?

I was just curious to find out on average how many runs you would get using a 50 shot and a 10 lb bottle?

I typically use about 1/2 a lb or slightly less on the 50 shot in a 1/4 mile pass.

Wow, thats not bad at all I just got rid of my current car and im trying to find a 1g thats has a decent bit of turbo mods on it already and I wanted to put a nitrous kit in whenever i get another car. Thanks for the help.

That's about what I got in my 3G with a 55 shot on it. I think that I got right about 17-18 passes before you could tell that the gas was getting a thin.

I would say it would last a good while, when I sprayed 75hp shot it last a little while but the 150hp went quick. Spend the money on a heater and guage it helps out the efficiency alot. I would think a 50hp shot would take you a long night of racing depending on how long you held it.

How long will a bottle of nitrous last?
A. That depends on the level of power being produced. The formula for calculating your nitrous usage is: 0.8 lbs N2O X 10 seconds = 100 horsepower. I.E. If your system is jetted for 100 horsepower it will use 0.8 lbs of nitrous for every 10 seconds of usage.

just to keep it all in a hazleton settin of replys.. my experiences with nitrous consist of this.. the 10lb bottle aint worth or any good unless u plan to drive to wilkes barrie on the regular to refill.. i decided to use my 10lb bottle for my N-TERcooler sprayer and i bought 40lb tanks for the direct port EFI kit and pre-spool
