Ok I have a turbonetics 60-1 that will spool around 4k maybe a little higher but I would like to get something for out the whole and the lower gears mainly to pretty much have the best of both worlds(quick spool and crazy top end). Now plenty Of people will say that I don't need to mess with nos to run good times and I know this. Thing is I don't want to do two things

1. Spend shit loads on race gas and on top of that have to tune twice.

2. Go out and buy a eprom ECU and chip to get a 2 stage/stutter box festure.

I figured there are two things that you get out of a chip that I want that I don't get with my current SAFC and 2g mas setup. A raised Rev limit and stuterbox. I thought that if I can use like just a 35 shot to get this thing spooled threw first and second then just let the turbo do what it does up top. I want to know how you guys are makin out that use nitrous with descent boost(20psi+) as a spool shot or even just guys that use it threw all gears on this is the key REBUILT BUT STILL STOCK 6 BOLT W/ ARP STUDS AND MLS HG.

If you're using it just for spooling it might be ok. If you plan on using N2O in the higher gears you will have to watch your tune very closely. It's probably more of a race gas situation regardless.

This isn't a bump but what about 35 shot right before the turbo of course it would have to be dry though which I know is not the best on forced induction cars. That would cool charges and get almost instant spool but would it be safe on a 60-1?

A 35hp shot will make 80hp on your car no problem. So imagine going down the track with 28psi on your turbo, then as soon as you hit 3rd gear the boost is automaticlaly turned down to 20psi for all third gear and 4th.

This is what your talking about doing just as an FYI.

Either spray the whole way or don't, but just for spool is an old school idea that never worked even then.

I would go with the eprom with stutterbox. I set stutter box at 5500 rpm and when I leave the line, Im seeing 10psi. As soon as the car starts to move, Im getting full boost(24psi). I also have no lift to shift in the eprom so Im not losing any boost on the gear change. Plus, I dont have to run race fuel like that and dont have to get a bottle filled periodically.
And I am also running a 60-1 with stage 5 turbine.
