What do I have to do for my engine to be able to handle a 150shot of nitrous?????

I drive a 95 eclipse RS

LOL ok but let me find out what I have to replace on my engine first before I try that.:D

Your motor will not handle a 150 shot without forged internals and about 1000 dollars worth of machine work. Total cost, prolly about 4 grand. If you even have to ask if your motor will handle a 150 shot, then you are definately NOT the type who would actually do all that is neccessary to make the motor handle it. You need to go watch Fast and Furious again, and then play the Nitto Tire game. It should satisfy your fix until you want a 200 shot and come back here to ask about that.

Regards,

Did you see me ask if the 420a could handle it no you saw me ask what I needed to do to the engine before I tried a 150 shot. I don't like the Fast and the furious and I've got 6g's saved up to put in the car I'm thinking an engine swap and some nos or turbo kit and nos with money into the engine. Already got nos wet system but using 75 shot. But I was asking for help cause I wanted to know All the #@%#@%#@%#@% I'd have to do for Plan B to work. But instead I get the guy who just talks mess. I know your the expert so I hope you can answer. Also Could u take a look at my other post about the computech nitrous system my homeboy wants to buy one but I'm not sure it will work... Thanks In advance...........

...Did you see me ask if the 420a could handle it no genious you saw me ask what I needed to do to the engine before I tried a 150 shot....

And I answered your question. Genious.

...I've got 6g's saved up to put in the car 3g's go to a turbo and the rest in the engine itself...

Wow, you mean someone asking about engines actually has the money to spend on it? I'm truely floored! So, if I told you that you'd need to spend about 600 bux for rods, and 500 for pistons, and then another 600 on machine work, and then pay someone to assemble it, you'd lay right down and spend the money? Sorry if the doubt fairy is flying over my head rigt now...

...i'll let you know when It's done so when I pull up to you at a light you don't rev your little lawn mower wanabe engine Peace Out little kid....

LOL!!! I have news for you child. The day you beat me is the day I pull a golden Rhinocerous out of my ass. Would you like to know the difference between you and I? *I* actually am in the process of builidng my race motor as we speak (pauter rods, ross pistons, balanced and blueprinted bottom end, ported head, web cams, stainless valves, crower valve springs, O-ringed block, etc.) while *you* are merely asking questions on the internet. Do you care to take a poll on who you think would win this non-sense? Grow up, and don't talk like a big man if you still wear rubber pants.

Regards,

Look at my post one more time I was pissed the first time then redid it before you even posted OMG

I see that...Sheesh!! Seriously, you need to understand how many of these posts I read every single day from people who have no intentions of actually doing it to their cars. Sorry for jumping on you. Anyway, in all reality, you will need nice, low compression forged pstons, and good stout rods (such as Crower or Eagle) and have a competant machinist do the neccessary work on your bottom end. You'll also benefit greatly from some head porting. Another thing you wnt to consider with turbocharging is your fuel system is a non-return style, so you don't have the luxury of bumping fuel pressure. You'll need to take that into consideration as well via an FMU or something of the sort. Goo luck, and if you actually do it, keep us posted.

Regards,

yea you can run a 150 shot easily...the only downfall is you cant do it again ;)

if you've got 6 thousand dollars to spend, don't waste it on an RS eclipse...someone really ought to make this guy a wiseman, he's got the money for it and this thread is certainly advanced enough for the 'extreme tunerz' forum..

"what is knock?" jesus christ...aslan you should really shed that 'wiseman' status, the others are making you look bad...

Alright, I've read it three times. I know there is sarcasm there, but I still didn't quite catch what you were trying to say.
