im goin to pick up my wet kit in a couple days and i was wondering how much spray i should introduce?? and how much boost can i run at and still spray? and does the boost go up while your into the bottle? im not new to nitrous, but new to nitrous on a turbo car, i dont wanna kill my car to early :) thanks!!

well just follow that basics of the bottle and you sound be fine and start at 35 and go up make sure you got a bigger fuel pump and the basic mods first and the boost controler takes car of the boost side but i plan on eventuly run a 75 wet shot on my car with a 190 and 550's and don't for get to change your plug heat range and take out some timing and you should be happy oh btw if this is on a fwd i would also consider running a window switch

my MAFT has a little wire that says its for a auxilary system like nitrous, how do i intigrate that into my cylinoids?? and is thier a book that is based on nitrous and turbo engines?? i like to do my homework before i do anything. another thing, where do i plumb in the nozzle?? do i do it between my aircleaner and turbo, or do i put it in my ic pipe before the throttlebody?

well things you need to run it is a arming switch and rely with a wot micro and window switch best place to tap it in is the throttle body elbow right be for the throttle boddie the nos system is indepent system basically all it does is turn on when you have it armed and a wot but like i said i would run a window switch for that little extra measure

Yes your boost will go up and if your on an internally gated turbo it will go up quite a bit. Make sure you plan for this in advance. Also your turbo will spool instantly so be aware of this as well.

well i pick up the NOS brand kit on friday, but i have to order the pills yet, should i just spray a 50 shot and call it good?? and also i have recently orderes 650's a walboro 255 and a fpr. and a fuel pump rewire kit. how far away from the tb should i mount the needle? and where should i set my boost?? 12psi? 14psi? im still on the 14b, but i have a 16G sittin here ready to go on. any info is appreciated.

when i was doing research on the nitrous topic for my GSX they said that you should mount the nozzle 3 to 6 inches away from the elbow in the TB. i have heard of people shooting nitrous into their turbo but i think that is for the bigger turbo application to get them to spool off the line shouldn't have that problem w/ the 14b there is a really really good write up about nitrous either on dsmtuners or vfaq

I'm currently running a FP ported Big28, HKS 264/272 cams and a 75 ZEX wet shot. The car is a monster. I'm running about 19lbs of boost, and then it shoots to about 22lbs while spraying. I haven't had any problems as of yet. Knocks on wood :thumb:

You are only running a 14.5 @96mph in your car and you want to install a nitrous kit? Are you nuts?

Get the car running a little better than it is now, and then try nitrous.

i have alot more done to my car since the 14.5 run, oh the things you do over winter :)
