heres a pic of mine. DSMJim has told me that it has to be mounted to metal, so that there isnt quite track legal. my question is for guys who have it mounted right above where it is now(right behind the seat) is there anything under there that could be damaged by drilling holes there? i had my car on the lift one day and i was looking at it, but i couldnt quite figure out exactly where the bolts would come through... sorry for highjacking but ive been meaning to find this out for a while and seems to be close to on topic.
here look this is where im at. how do you reach the nuts on the forward bolts, to tighten them down, when i drill through that black plate to mount it?
Well, here's some install pics I just did on my buddy's SRT4. I know it's not a DSM, but it might give someone a cool idea.... It only took me about an hour and a half.... Turned out quite nice.

like maybe an extra minute. its kinda easy because there so much room from where the A/C stuff. all i do is loosen the butterfly bolts a bit and pull. and it slides out.
Sorry the pics are so crappy I had to take a picture off my Youtube video...cause I don't have any other pics of my old GS. Yeah i know it was kinda ricerish looking but this video was from 2002 and I bought the car new in 1999. Ricerish stuff was cool back then, so be easy on me.
I basically Carved out a valley in the foam so the tank would sit down in the backseat. It was actually very nice cause I could just reach between the seats and open the bottle up 123!!
so how well hidden are you solenoids, jets and lines?
I'd post an Engine pay picture, but you wouldn't see them anyways even if you where up in person. you wouldn't see them, unless you knew the general location and then you'd have to drill and tap the pipe.
