I have a 95 talon Esi with about 148k miles. I bought it for cheap and just intend on driving it for one sweet year. I've decided that I wanna have fun with this car and install a nitros system. I'm thinking about getting a dry sytem with 50 shot and having it professionally installed. I got my car from a good trusted friend, and when I got the engine inspected, all was in good condition. What I need to know is whether or not this is a good idea and how long should I expect the engine to run. What modifications should I do to my car (other than expensive internals) before getting NOS. I already have intake/exhaust, and plan on doing a tune up this weekend. Thanks.

It's not a good idea to run N2O with that many miles, although you could blow a brand new motor with N2O as well. If you run a dry kit or wet kit make sure everything is in perfect running order. It's a good Idea to run a colder range plug NGK tr6's are good nitrous plugs. I would close the gap a little bit tighter than stock. A FPS (fuel pressure safety switch) is also a good Idea it can save your ass if your fuel pressure drops. A window switch is also a good idea. The more safety equiptment you have the better. Use premium gas when you plan on spraying as well
I'm all for N2O. --> I'd do a fuel pump rewire as well just to be safe, but I'm sure you could get away with out it. Just make sure you have enough fuel and strong spark you should be fine. :D

Is the ESI turbo? If so use a wet kit, not dry. Milage has nothing to do with N2O use. I don't think you know what your doing, and I don't think you should use it. But if you want to learn that's the best way.

I have 172K on my car... I spray on the way to work... just squeeze it... like a uhmm..... you know... loaf... hahahha it wont hurt it as long as you have good compression... regular oil changes... and a healthy fuel system...
