Stock Fuel Rail enough???

Your car runs ok now on the stock fuel rail? Is it running out of fuel at the rail or something? Why do you think you need a rail is what I'm getting at?

Your nitrous kit being wet adds the fuel needed for the nitrous kit though the nossle so the rail makes absolutly no difference to the nitrous kit, it's totaly independant of the engine.

BTW your sig says "Wet Kit w/ Fogger Kit" I see you have a Zex wet kit, do you also have an N.O.S. Fogger kit? Or are you using a Fogger nossle on your Zex kit? Fogger is a style of nossle from N.O.S. some of their direct port nitrous kits come with the fogger nossle, others the angular plume nossle. Are you refering to a purge valve instead and are confusing the word fogger with a nitrous purge?

Sorry dsmjim, i did mean purge valve i will change it now :)

The stock fuel rail runs fine, i was wondering if there would be any gain seen in upgrading the injector, perusing your response i know there will not be. Thanks!

AT 27psi + pro race fogger jetted for 80hp the stock rail does me right. I would not be worried with the rail, or injectors, especially when running a wet kit. You biggest concern will come from the fuel pump. It does need to be adequate to fuel a nitrous system with the rest of your setup in mind.

actually dsmjim, the wet kits on our cars get the fuel from a test port on the end of the fuel rail. he's worried that with it taking fuel from the end, his rail wont be able to supply both the injectors and the nitrous with enough fuel, which i have told him a million times that it is adequite and no gains will be seen..... BUT NOOOOO who listens to me? :p

for my wet kit, i tapped the fuel line before it got to the fuel rail. the fuel rail would have nothing to do with the fuel feeding into the nitrous nozzle. untill the engine receives the nitrous/fuel mixture from the intak, the engine has no idea what is about to happen.

Hahha. BUT NOOOOOOOOO. LOL...

Either way it's feeding from a fuel source that is dependant on the pump not depandant on the size of the rail. Even if it's coming from the rail it's still not going to be effected by the size of the rail so long as the pump can provide adiquate pressure and flow to supply the nitrous and car which a 190lph would be able to.
