As a 1990 subaru NA wagon, my speed isnt exactly great. Running hot plugs I ran a best of 16.6 about a month ago. But last night I ran a no-gas first run and had a sucky ass 17.4 as a baseline. Next run I pulled a 14.967 at 90.44 mph. Not a bad improvement! My 60' was 2.007. Now I just need a better clutch so I can do this all the time!

I call bs here .... you'd have to be running a 100 shot or more for those kinds of imporvements. Either you just learned how to drive your car, you got lucky, or you're making this up. :shhh:

PFFft.. Right... A car running 17.6 will take off 2 seconds with a 35hp shot from an NX wet kit easily.

I'll bet he's running 50hp wet or 75hp dry (pretty well the same power to the wheels) to knock 2.4 seconds off his time, wouldn't take anymore.

Lets put it this way. My dads 95 Maxima Auto went 14.6 N/A and 13.1 with a 35hp shot. Feel free to doubt me if you want but it's the truth and I have been building and working on nitrous cars for along time.

Guys remember that takeing 2 seconds off a 17 second car is fairly easy. It's not like he's running 12.5 and just went 10.5 with a 35hp shot or anything. It's a 17 second car, a friggin 5mph tail wind will take 1 second off the 1/4 time.

80 shot. give or take a few. .042 NO2 jet and .029 fuel jet. 94 octane (10 gallons 92 and 1 gallon 114 tolulene, 1 step colder plugs. 2975 lbs with driver. Stock clutch, which is the weak point, it slips bad after a hard launch.

I know how to drive, I pulled a 16.6 in a NA legacy for christ sake. But baseline is baseline although I suspect running the colder plugs does affect the power somewhat when running without the NO2.

Dont do it, i sorta doubted his claim about NX's shots being precise to the wheels, and he was absolutely correct. he knows his stuff :thumb:

damn, 2 seconds off with an 80 shot... wow..i wonder what ill run
