turbo question....

i was wondering if i can turbo my car with stock internals and only push about 7-11psi.....would it harm anything? if i can do this what is the max psi i can push?

you should start off with around 6 psi first and see how your engine handle's it. It depends on what your internals are made out of and what kind of compression you have from stock. Usually NA motors are between 10 and 12:1. 6 is safe for DD and with a good tune you may be able to get more out of it.

This topic has been covered many, many times(a simple search would have answered all your questions). Ok, first there is NEVER a set psi that any engine can run. Remember psi, is just pressure. Some N/T 4g63's have seen upwards of 20psi+, many did this knowing that ANY amount of knock would destroy there ringlands. So when you decide to turbo(if you decide this your path), then take into consideration, that you should tune for no knock.

Why not change your internals or even swap motors? You'll have less to worry about and a lot more options. IMO.
