Im looking for someone who is local who can help me fix my turbo. Theres a rod thats connected to the wastegate actuator that came off . It looks like it held in by a pin or a clip. Right now the car is barely making any boost, but when I get it back on there it boosts fine. Maybe if someone has a extra pin that I need or a make shift way to make it stay on there that would help.

yea I was thinking about doing that also except the hole doesnt go all the way through, It needs some sort of C clip I think. Any ideas

It should be a through-hole on most arrangements. If it wants a C-clip, it'll have a groove around it instead of a hole. It may be blocked by part of the old broken-off pin. Maybe because some yahoo used a paper clip on the damned thing.

Here's an idea- get a real Cotter Pin to replace the missing one. Any parts store will have them.

Paper clip.

I fixed it a couple hours ago using a E clip. I jus tried it out and its working good. I jus put the clip in the groove because there was no hole.
