while on this long and difficult journey to restore my eclipse to the glory it once had...
I decided I'm goin to start on handling.. I figured what's the point of doin engine work if I won't be able to handle it...

So I bought a set of brembo rotors ( stock replacement ) from a friend who had bought it for his GS-T and he gave me ebc brake pads ( green stuff ) [ both brand new ]... and one of my other friends is selling his stock evo 9 brembo calipers [ took them off at 30k ]... so my main issue is that idk if all these would piece together... I don't wanna go and install anything if it just gonna be a waste of time...

so has anyone gone thru the same issue?

I've already tried contacting brembo themselves but they haven't gotten back to me yet...and I even tried goin to a mitsubishi dealership... but dey couldn't provide me wif anykind of help... so I'm kinda stuck... =\
Any advice would help...thanx

Aren't your current calipers dual piston? The stockers will work fine and really wouldn't need an upgrade unless you plan on needing instant stopping power. The EBC and rotors will suite you just fine IMO.

As far as I know, it will be one or the other for you. Stock sized DSM rotors aren't going to work with evo brembos and vice versa. The evo brakes will be a huge improvement though and it has been done on a dsm before, you should be able to find a few threads on this site (venture outside the 420a section).

Oh and please learn how to speak/type in english instead of retard

I got a little confused reading this. He's getting dsm pads and rotors. The calipers would be from the evo. Are you saying that the evo calipers WILL fit the mounting but he would then need to buy evo sized rotors as well? I know the pads would have to be for the evo to fit the calipers.

[I can't do quotes so bear with me]
Starting with liquidx... I forgot to mention that my car is a RS model, so I'm not sure if the rotors for the gst would fit my car.... and my calipers are single piston.

And cs82685
thanks for the input...
My friends who's trying to sell me the calipers told me they would fit, but I'm not takin his word for it
Sorry if I'm not typing in full english... I'm on my phone so it feels like I'm texting....LOL

Well I figure I'm better off getting a brake kit off an evo then... I'll just sell the rotors and pads I have now
I'm trying to look for an alternative from buying a $3,000 big brake kit...LOL...

Thanks guys, you were a huge help... =)
