i bought a 95 talon tsi with 45,800 miles on it for 6500 so i personally wouldnt pay that much for a 2ga with that high of miles and its only a fwd turbo. the kbb value of that car in my area in excellent condition is $5,920 . I would definately work them down from that. I also bought my car off a grandma driver who didnt know why it made noise when she drove the car faster and she had it serviced at the chrysler dealership by my house so i was willing to pay more for it.

i would most certainly check it out,try to get a carfax report or as much info as you can on the vin#.since you don't know the person it's hard to trust the condition,if those miles are all original without proper maitainance i would most certainly talk them down because now your looking at 7bolt block prone to crankwalk, but iwas once told that if crankwalk hasn't happened at that mileage it might not happen but i would try to make that costly of a mistake! i'm on the fence with your purchase without knowing if the car has anything done!
