New to turbo's

new to turbos, but would running low on fuel, cause it to spuder and back fire? and how does the stock waste gate work, should i upgrade, and speaking of upgrades, what can i do to an 95 Tsi awd? the same as a 95 GSX?? thanks

Yeah, if you run the car lean then it is going to backfire or hit fuel cut because the computer is seeing a very high knock count. It's just kind of a fail safe thing that mitsubishi put in there so you won't blow the motor up.

As far as mods, Talons are the exact same thing as an Eclipse but with different body peices (wings, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, etc.)

Thanks ever so much, ChvyKc, I put $10 in gas in it and it runs fine. Thanks for the info on the mods, I just have one more question, how hard would it be to fix my fuel gauge? My light comes on at a 1/4 tank?
