Just wondering what cars I can beat, I have a CAI and Exhaust, my girlfriend embarrased someone in a new cougar with her eclipse, and It was an automatic even!! Ha Ha Thanks for any input!:thumb:

with a n/t eclipse, probably not much....eclipses are heavy, and the n/t motors arent so hot. Except the 1g n/t 4g63, which is basically the same as the turbo 4g63 minus oil squirters, the good rods, the good pistons, and the turbo cams...

in the 1g's,NT connecting rods, and turbo connecting rods are exactly the same.

Ah, the good ol' days of non turbo DSMs..

i used to have a 98 mitsu eclipse GS. bone stock. The only victory i ever had was against my buddies 6 cylinder '69 chevy nova.

I tried racing a Civic hatch, swapped with a b18c1, turbocharged with my Eclipse GS too....but that wasnt pretty. oooh. that one got ugly quick. Like i was standing still....nay, going in reverse. Im not even sure i'd be able to take him still, even with the car i have now.

But anywho, n/t's can look forward to having competition with automatic 96-98 v6 Mustangs, Maza Mx-6, Ford Probe's, Chevy Cavalier Z24's, Celica GT (140 hp model, right?) Old first Gen 300zx n/t (167 hp) And thats about it. Occasionally, a slightly modded n/t DSM can pounce on an unsuspecting bone stock Civic SI. But like i said, they have to be bone stock, and VERY unsuspecting

If i were you, i'd focus on suspension setup rather than speed. Or throw in a turbo. (easier said than done :shhh: )

:talon: :talon:

i had a nt 95 talon, they was so slow sometime i had trouble speeding up with highway traffic:thumb: , im just messing, pick out ur races careful u dont want to embaress urself, or if the guy is looking at u at the stop light and revving, pretend ur music is too loud to hear him :p

I have a 98 mustang 5spd and have killed every N/T eclipse that has ever raced me. 5spd or not, they are slow cars, but hey at least they look nice.
