Resolved 2g 4G63 fuel filter location.

I search the site and my owners manual but was unable to find any info. Just want to know the fuel filter location. Thanks.

Sorry to be the person to tell you this but the 2g fuel filter is a pain in the ass. And this is 1 thing that i read that some 2g'ers take to satan to replace. Its in your manual.

the fuel filter on the turbo 2g 4G63 is on the firewall. if u take out the battery and look down and kinda too the left u will see it. the gas line is running from it to the fuel rail.

the price satan will charge you -- ya midas well just upgrade the fuel system with a AN ss supply line. and say hell with the fuel filter.

I'd have to say it took me about 5 hours to change mine...the dealer wanted $100 so I decided to do it myself.

The battery and battery tray has to come out. The lines on the filter seemed welded on so I had to take the charcoal canister out, just to get a pair of wrenches on the bottom of the filter to remove it from the hard line. Once out, it required my air impact driver to remove the top banjo bolt. Putting it back in was just as bad with the exception of an easier time bolting the lines onto the new filter.
