If i'm going to drag race someone, off the line what rpm should i drop the clutch at for the best start? @ What rpm should i shift into 2nd?

:thumb: :dsm:

1) Dont street race

2) If you dont listen to number 1, then here is what to do. Dont dump, slip the clutch out from 2500-3k. Shift into second at around 5000, keeps you from wheel hoping (depending on your set-up). Try to stay away from putting it to the wood in 1st. You will roast your tires. Good luck.

?????

The 2g power peak is at 6,000 rpm stock. You should never shift lower than redline if you want to go fast.

Chris' idea is better, I always spin my tires at around 6000 rpm(f#$#ing wheelhop). Go into second at around 5000-5500 then shift at redline the rest of the way. Keep practicing, you'll learn to controll the wheel spin, I know I had to and still do.

You are forgetting that all 4 of your wheels spin, we only have 2 that spin bro.

Wheel hop sucks.

i always shifted at redline, i just learned when the wheels were about to break loose, so i didn't floor it in first till i like hit 5000 rpm, then shifted into 2nd at redline, then floored it the rest of the time till redline. Now a days i don't gotta worry about that tho, gotta luv the awd
