I know the EGR valves has a temp. sensor with cars that are from CA or are 94's my question is Im removing all those vaccum hoses and I blocked off the egr valve. Im not sure if I will get a CEL light with the sensor not connected. I have a federal ECU so im thinking that maybe because its a federal ECU it doesnt have some of the stuff that the CA ECU has and wont trigger a Check engine light. So would I be ok with removing the whole egr valve with the sensor without a CEL or should I just block it and leave the EGR Valve with the sensor connected?
