extreme psi carries 2 different types of "SCM" turbos: the 50 trim and the 56 trim. the 50 is good for 440 hp and the 56 can surpass 600 hp...and yet they are the same price!! both turbos are internally gated and come with an install kit. bigger is almost always better...but my main concern is that opting for the larger of the two turbos will require replacement of engine internals.

if anyone who has experience with either of these turbos can help me out, please let me know which turbo would suit my needs best.

both are PTE turbo's. Yes they are the same price and different turbo's u don't ahve to pay more for a bigger turbo unlike the past hybrids. The 50 trim is about 7% bigger then the TD06 20g. It shoudl get full boost around 3700rpm. The 56trim is HUGE, it's larger then a 60-1 but much more effecant then the 60-1. This turbo should ahve full boost about 4500rpm. I just ordered one yesturday, last on in stock. I'll post some results next week when I get it in. The 50 trim will be pushing the internals if u can max it out, to max the 56 trim, u will need a built bottom end. I don't plan on maxing it out any time soone. My friend has hte 56 trim and runninf 22psi on pump on teh stock bottom end. I will prolly run about 20, pending what my logs say.
