What the heck is this?? my friend came up with this ecu. he is trying to get me to try it on my car. Has anyone seen something like this before? It looks like a non-eprom ecu converted to an eprom? I'm a little hesitant to put it on my car? any information on this ecu would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John-

this actually my ecu (hey john)
i think this is a little more interesting that "NEWBIE"
can we move this to tech?

Could it be a JET prepped board? You need to send it in to them for rework and they ship it back. Try calling them and ask. For them to do what they claim for 1G cars, they'd need to do an aux board, as you have, for non-eprom boards.

Very interesting.

Unless.......... somehow you got ahold of a prototype from within DCX walls.........
