how do you know how much boost you can run safely

i was wondering how much boost is a safe boost. saying that its a 20g turbo with all supporting mods. What does it take to turn up the boost how do you know its at a safe point.

It pretty much depends on tuning. You could hurt the head gasket by running 15 psi tuned really bad, but be fine at 25 psi with good tuning. It also depends a little on what size injectors you are running and if you are on race gas or pump gas.
