2.0 valve cover

Can anybody tell me if the 2.0 valve cover are interchangable and what years?

Every single year they are interchangeable. As long as they are all turbo motors.

is it true that the turbo valve covers are metal? i have a n/t valve cover, and it definately wouldn't seem to be metal

Are you tinking of the spark plug cover,maybe? All DSM Valve covers are metal.
