Puting in a 3kgtVR4FP?

Well I found a flowchart for the 3KGT VR4 FP and it says it is rated up to 180LPH. Now this would be enough for me for now and I cannot afford a 255pump and FPR but I was wondering if anyone else used that pump on a DSM and if so..how did it work?

More than a few people have used it no problem. It really just depends on what turbo you are going to run.

Well I am going Big16G and 660's with a S-AFC. I can rewire the 3KGT pump as I did my old one and I think it will hold for now since I am not going crazy on boost either.Will upgrade to a 255 later but cant right now and the 3KGT is almost free...so...

Got a 3KGT pump for 50$ almost new so ..I go for that.....and do a rewire to it then it should hold up fine.I cant imagine I will hit fuel cut with that one on my setup so...Will et ya know what happens later on with it

The VR4 pump is a Denso unit and is not noisy, very quiet. I have one. The walbros are noisy.

direct bolt in....

put the pump in now and it works great.Quiet and nice..runs smoothly and I think it keep up the pace Install was easy..just cut the cable and soldered it to the cables from the pump...then just a bolt on install
