Ok a purchased a 93 eclipse gsx only mod was the flowmaster exhaust
There is a random shake can happen at any speed at any time. the car does seem to pull to the right.

Took the car to Firestone for a alignment and balance to see if that could be the issue. Nope found that the Lower control Arm Bushings are shot.
They told me that would not cause the shake the tie rods brakes etc all look great. The tires are what they say is causing the car to shake at random.

Anyone have any input in this I am wondering if time wise I should jut replace the whole control arm or is it worth saving the $120 to just do the bushings?

Also anyone have any input on what Firestone told me about it being the tires?

Thanks for the help.

Bushings can cause a nasty shake, if you have never had or know of the tie rod ends being done while your there you might want to think about doing those aswell and the bushings should just be a press out press in affair i'd pull it apart and make sure nothing is wrong with anything else when it comes to suspension you can never be to safe.

I would stay its a bushing. I would go through all of then in your suspension. Remember you have a 20 year old car and rubber and plastic deteriorate over time. I would also definitely shop around for another shop.

Had the same issue with my '91 GST. My main problem was the struts were shot! When I put it up on jack stands 12" up the wheels just stay on the ground, makes tires changes a pain. Replaced the struts, still having a bit of a shake but I plan on replacing the bushings when money and time isn't as tight.
