Change 2g AFPR fitting so it fits 1g?

I recently bought a used AFPR with fittings and unfortunately the guy gave me a fitting that bolts onto a 2g fuel rail and doesn't have bolt holes wide enough to fit my 1g rail.

I'd really like to have my car up and running this weekend, does anyone know any auto parts stores that would have something like this?

Thanks for the link! I'll definitely hitup a vendor if this is a somewhat custom piece. But do you know if a place like Advanced, Auto Zone, or Napa would sell something like that so I could get on the road today?

I have an idea.

You might be able to modify 2g fitting to fit.

Does the fitting itself fit into the rail? If it does, then you can just modify the ends of the fitting where the bolt holes are. Similar to how extreme has set up there 1g fuel rail adapter.

Use some washer to hold down the bolt and fitting. I have never done this but it might work. The fittings are about 10mm difference in length.

Heres a picture of what I mean:

The 2g fpr side fitting is actually too long to fit on the 1g rail. The 1g fittings are shorter than the 2g.I went thru this when I got sent a 2g rail fitting instead of the short 1g one.

Id go to the yard and buy a 2g fuel rail and be done with it. Take the hose from the filter to rail off the donor car just in case. Probably cost ten bucks

I just dug out some rails, and the 2g rail will accept the flange on the hose from the fuel filter to rail, so if you can get a 2G rail from a yard, youll be all set. Otherwise, try what Agentorange has suggested, as the washers will indeed hold the flange in place.

You got enough fuel rails there buddy.ROFL

Hey guys, I took agentorange313's advice and modified the bolt holes and used washers.

There wasn't enough material to elongate the holes so I cut the ends and bent the material so the holes were completely open ended. The flange slid down and covered about half the width of the bolt so with the washers I got a good seal and decent pressure to keep the fitting in place.

A little bit ricer but it will hold long enough for the right piece to come in the mail.
