Those lines on top of the block is for headgasket. Just take the motor to a machine shop and get it redone if its in spec.

The pistons are 85.5mm Ross racing pistons.. and in the first picture of the top of the block. That ring you can feel an edge with your finger nail

Oddly enough I've heard of a few 6bolt blocks not having enough material to safely go .020 over. I had one block split open a little above that area (not as bad) after it had been bored .020 over :( I always have the block sonic tested now. My guess is if it hasn't been sleeved then there wasn't enough material to hold up and cracked if it wasn't already....

Its in all for cylinder wall.. #1 is the worst looking but the others pretty much look to clean to be a random crackin issue..I've never seen metal crack or break in a straight line

The block has been sleeved. Looks like a repair sleeve to me. They used some sort of sealant when they installed the dry sleeve. Some do this when the over bore breaks into the water jacket.

When I install a sleeve, I let the sleeve poke above the block deck a tad then deck the sleeve down to the block.

You may not think the block was sleeved, but if the shop messed up the .020 bore, they would have installed the sleeve(s) and not said anything.
