Something as simple as taking the valve cover had turned into a pain in the A!

Was wondering if I have to pull the cam sensor for it to come off?

Also, yes all bolts have been removed, but it's like the prior owner Krazy glued this sucker on. I'm a little to paranoid of using a screw driver to pry it up for fear of damaging the mating surface. I attempted to tap it in a few locations with a dead blow, but nothing.

Was wondering if anyone had a trick or tip on removing it.

just a tiny bit of leverage, mine was stuck badly. I took it off two days ago, slightly popped one side up and it slid right off.

Since you are removing it and most likely going to need a new gasket set, stick a screwdriver inbetween the half moon plug and the VC gasket. Pull up gently on the side breather port while prying up with the screwdriver. Once you break the intial seal, the rest should come up easily.

Spector5 I keep envisioning the outer bolts removed and all the inner bolts in the spark plug well still in and just prying to beat the band until crunch! LOL

My bet is they used a bunch of silicone to seal it. You could use an exacto knife to cut the silicone around the outside edge. Just be careful not to cut into the head seal surface. That should free it up some with less chance of cracking it.

I literally had to beat mine with a hammer 5 times til it popped off....

I tried lifting from PVC valve.... Broke it...
Breather port....broke it...
