Resolved where can I find a lower thermostat joint

As the title said im looking for the lower thermostat joint that connects to the heater core. Do you think that it would be at lowes or an autopart store? In the pic im looking for number 1

Not likely to find it at a hardware store, considering it's a BSP thread, or at your auto parts store. You could try tapping the threads for something a little more convenient like a 3/8" NPT and use a barbed hose fitting from the plumbing section at Lowes. But if you don't already have the tap for that, it will cost you.

McMaster-Carr has BSP threaded barb fittings but if you are going to order something, the OEM part number is MD020631. Otherwise, they'll be on any 2.0L 1G in the junkyard and many other Mitsubishi vehicles.

Your best bet is to go to the classifieds on here or even Craigslist. There's always people parting out dsm's. just be warry you don't buy stolen goods. Had that happen to me once.
