Ok so Ive had this issue since I bought the car and I could never figure out what causes it... when you close the door the class hits against the weatherstripping before the door even catches on the piece of metal attached to the body of the car. the window hits near the front of the glass right above the mirror. any ideas on how to fix?

Is the door not lining up properly? Is the window glass hitting the windshield glass?

I've owned three Talons and all of them did this. I always thought it was just because there's no frame supporting the glass.

when the door is open and you follow the body line you can tell its slightly sloped down.. i need to take the fender off and align it but would that cause it not to shut properly?

Have your local body shop fix it..My girls avenger had this problem on the drivers side..I took it to the town car guy..He had it fixed and back to me the same day,And he wouldnt take my money either.

It was something about the hinges sagging..I didn't ask questions, it was fixed, thats all I cared about.

Before it was fixed..You literally had to lift the door up by the handle when closing the door, or It wouldnt line up to the lock.

Unless the door is catching on the fender when you open and close it, I would say no.
