Are you running through the fuel rail in the opposite direction of stock?
im also happy to see you here on tuners instead of tr
I never seen it mounted on that side. I like them mounted on the firewall.
This is not a good idea. You are effectively regulating the fuel pressure in the line before the injector rail. The idea of a Fuel pressure regulator is suppose to regulate the fuel in the fuel rail not the line before the rail.
You will most likely crack your fitting with a setup like this. The fuel rail is bolted straight to the head, so it receives direct vibration from the engine. Putting the heavy regulator on the rail with just the fitting will cause the connector a lot of stress, hence why your friends fitting cracked. And the regulator is just fine on the left side like that, fortunately the fuel rail is the least complicated part to understand in our cars, its just a hollowed out tube, doesn't matter which way the fuel runs through it.I actually got the idea off my friends talon, he actually wants to switch it up though since he said one of the aluimuim fittings cracked from possible the weight of the regulator, but this could of been from a crappy cheap fitting, or a bad cast..Who knows, figured I'd try it out since it only happened to him once and its been fine every since..
