fwd flywheel and awd flywheel, are they the same?

Is there any diff on the flywheel on a awd or fwd?

I believe someone was doing a swap awhile ago and the starter wouldn't engage the flywheel. Turns out one was smaller than the other. I'm gonna guess the AWD was smaller, but this just what he found out the hard way.

I heard the step height is the only difference and it can be changed when you get it resurfaced.

there is a difference.

so not switch them, all you do is end up changing them out again and buying another.

the dia. is diff -- starter wont engauge if its to small -and if its to big .. well uhm yano.. its to big
