Methanol injection in magnus nitrous bungs

Has anyone on here tried setting up a Magnus SMIM then putting water methanol injection in each intake runner using the nitrous bungs? Is this possible?

I want to get everything out of my turbo but am reluctant to switch to E85.

I know with water methanol there is a risk of running cylinder 1 lean and losing a ring, but if water and methanol are injected into each runner, then there would be a lot more power potential and safer.

Possible but it wont be as effective. Water/Meth needs room to atomize properly which is why you put it before the TB, I believe they say about 18" pre-TB is where it should be to allow plenty of room to atomize properly before it enters the motor. So it is not recommended to run nozzles into the nitrous bungs

It's very possible to do that. I would suggest maybe a 3 gallon/hr nozzle or less if you are doing individual runners to ensure a fine mist with that short of distance to the cylinders. What do you plan on running for a mixture, 50/50, 25/75, or 100% methanol? I would personally lean to a stronger meth concentration so you can get finer droplet and vaporize it before reaching the cylinders.

This site will explain all the locations available and the pros and cons of each.

Ok thanks.

I wonder if nos nozzles would work for atomizing the water/meth in sufficient volume?

I don't think there is any other type of nozzle that would work for that type of bung.

The devil's own website has a direct port injection manifold. Should I just cut it up to use the pieces as bungs?

I stopped using meth injection after blowing up my Magnus sheet metal intake manifold. I hit the rev limiter and had a meth explosion in the intake that un-zipped the welds like they were plastic. After that I switched to E-85.

Wow that is intense. That is yet another reason to go E85 instead of water/meth, other than potentially losing piston rings from improper installment/implementation. Thanks for sharing.
