Exhaust smells rich

My car is completely stock besides the alarm system..
N/T, so no tuning done

car just started smelling rich recently.
From my guesses, this means either my catalytic converter isnt functioning right, a bad spark not igniting all the fuel, or not enough airflow to burn all the fuel..

Am I right? or am I missing something?

Also possibly bad O2 or bad ECT sensor so ECU thinks engine is cold and enriches mixture.

O2 sensor. Pull it off and see if it has a build up of carbon on it. I just did mine and it worked

If you want to check the O2 sensor before swapping it out Get a data logger on the car and see if the O2 is cycling between around 0.1v to 0.9v at idle. If not the car isn't in closed loop and the sensor is likely needing a change.

I have to agree sounds like a O2 sensor. Also check your ecu for leaking caps.
