Another Wideband/ ecmlink question

I know, I know, I searched but all the threads I found were about wiring, using NB simulation... Anyways, I finally got around to installing my MTX-L. My WB sensor has it's own bung in my down pipe, and the factory NB is in it's stock location. Now my question is to log the WB in ecm link, I just need to splice the wideband wire (in the MTX-L it's yellow,) to an unused port on the the ecu, such as pin 15 which is EGR Temp input, then add it on ecm link? Keep in mind I have 2.5, so I don't have NB sim, nor do I need it since I'm keeping the stock NB in it's location. Correct?

Thanks, I know this has been beat to death, but I couldn't find a straight answer?

Yes, you only use NB Simulation if you don't have the factory front O2. Splice the signal wire into any unused pin that can be logged by Link (such as the EGR temp). Then define the input in your ECU Input tab, add it to the captured values, then display the value in your datalog.
