Maybe I phrased the question incorrectly. How do I determine if I have an early or late 92 1g?
Thanks, Tom

Look at the sticker on the inside of drivers door there should be a build date then compare

6 bolt is early and 7 bolt is late

This is to only sticker I could find with a date, and it says Nov 91 which I don't think is right.

There was another sticker on the door but it was completely faded.

Advice? Options?

Its a 6bolt. They changed to 7 bolts around june 92...The TB gaskets are the same for all 1gs 90-94. Well at least the generic felpro gaskets are anyways.

I can tell you when I get home tomorrow after I look up your VIN number. I tried looking tonight but it seems my VM that I have the program installed on takes over my network connection so I locked myself out of my computer somehow.

Send me a PM if you don't hear from me by tomorrow night.

Awesome, thanks bud!

I'll be taking my TB out for a rebuild this weekend so I need to get that gasket in the mail because I'm up in Canada and it takes a while to ship.

Cheers,

Tom

Wicked sick, thanks bud.

So it looks like it's an early 92. Where did you source that info? Might be handy to know in the future...

Tom

Your car is a model year 92 with a build date in 1991. Didn't you ever notice they start selling next years car the year before?

Yeah I knew that I just wasn't sure how the Nov 91 sticker related to whether it was late or early 92 model.
