Hello all.
I've finally started my car project and tore in to the motor last week. I've currently have the block ready for the machine shop (and EVO 8 pistons
). I was looking at the oil pump after I had cleaned it up and it looked fine. It already had the balance shafts eliminated and I decided today to take it apart to make sure it had an oem stubby shaft. Just my luck it did not and the shaft is grooved and scarred really bad.
do you think because the shaft is scarred then the back oil pump case is too scarred to use? Cause I'm thinking I may need a new oil pump but let me know thanks
Thanks
