99.9% of the people will say OEM for anything visual on these cars...

1....It is your car, do what you think is cool and what you like. Don't let other people sway your choices.
2....Just google search in the images or just go to Cardomain...

Personally I like the Halo lights on darker cars & the chrome ones on lighter color cars.

Since you have a 95, I've seen the OEM ones tinted black inside like 96 420a-t posted (instead of silver) looks great in my opinion. You'd have to do it yourself though. However I like Halos as well. Like some said before, really depends on you, everyone has their own perspective on looks.

Restore your OEM lights (3M restoration works best). IMO the tint on headlights is dumb but to each his own. I baked my 2GAs took them apart sanded the chrome and painted them black. Had to restore the 2GB lights also (only paid 20 bucks for them though)

^ you painted the reflectors too? I'll bet the beams were horrible.

It's easy enough to just pop the sliver piece surrounding the reflectors, and hit it with some satin black. It actually takes more time to remove the metal clips clamping the lens to the housing, and baking it in the oven, than it does the paint.

Yup. It lasted 1 night before I noticed what I did. Whats funny Is I removed the reflective backing only to paint the surrounding area. It was just a dumb mistake so to correct it Itook them back apart and cut the high beam center cap and put HIDs in. Low beams actually weren't bad but put HIDs in also... Moreless just giving the idea of restoring and painting the housing satin black :thumb:

Also I know how long it took because I did it. And it's a one piece complete reflector. You don't just pop any piece off around the reflector It all pulls out as one. Not like the 2GBs. Needs to be taped off If anyone else attempts

I too like the OEM ones but I wanted to put HID's in without doing a retrofit so I bought the old APC dual projector headlights. I am a big fan of the OEM look but just hated the light output which is why I swapped to these which still look decent but allow me to run HID's without blinding other drivers.

^ What kind are those? They look great.

I have 2ga with black housings and white turn signals. But I have to agree the 2gb headlights with black housings look the best.

i dont know if this is your taste, So far, i like it:thumb:

Thanks man I appreciate the words. I bought car with aftermarket plastic darker ones, and although the look is not bad, they are dull, broken, dont fit right, and they quality of light is terrible. Honestly hated driving car at night because of such bad illumination.

Thanks

OEM 2Gb Headlights or 2Ga Headlights with the housings painted black. :D

But yukiz's aren't too bad either.

Do you have picture with bumper cover on?

IS there a way to make the OEM much better illumination without blinding everyone?

If you mean installing HIDs on OEM Headlights (without retrofitting), then no. But most people just aim the HIDs bulbs down the best they can.

I like the black housings on the eghey lights; but i hate the fit and finish. It looks ok in photos, but there's a noticable gap as compared to the OEM lights. I wish there was a blacked out version of the 2ga lights like there is for the 2gb....

BTW, they also tend to fog up brand new. Was told resealing them fixes this, though.

97-99 ECPLISE HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS OE REPLACEMENT | eBay

I actually really like em. Night time visibility ok right?

The black housing ebay ones I think are the best. But light out put is poor. So im in the process of a HID retrofit. I later plan to buy oem healights and convert them to HID but using the black ebay housing over the top. So it will have oem quality with the ebay housing look.
