OK... fresh 0 mile rebuild. On start up, it idles around 2000-2500 rpm.
But there are a lot of factors that could have caused this. Since that car has last ran. I have
AWD swap
5 speed swap
New 100% motor rebuild
Magnus SMIM install
272 cams installed
1G Turbo TB swap
Interior swap
Mild wiring tuck with many connectors extended
16G install
What troubleshooting i have done:
The ISC motor checked out... i check resistance between 1-2, 2-3 ,4-5, 5-6 all around 27ohms. (brown isc) Does it matter if i use black or brown. I have both black and brown.
TPS sensor has been set to 0. it was at 11% now at 0. No difference
When MAF is unplugged the idle drop a bit, but runs very rough. I dont have a MDP connected to the vacuum source as i since installed the SMIM so the failsafe pseudo SD wont work. I have also swapped MAFs just in case. No change.
The coolant temp sensor shows a normal temp 69 degrees on a cold engine. I used a OBD2 code reader with data logging to see this value.
I must be the most hypocritical person here, as i have not done a BLT.. cant find my tester... but that is usually my first reply to most peoples running problems. I have all new gaskets. Not saying i dont have any boost leaks, but none certainly large enough to idle this high.
BISS screw doesnt change anything worth mentioning.
Some things that may play a factor:
I am 98% sure i did all the wiring correctly.. its hard to get it wrong. But my gut is telling me that the only i can think could be left is a miss wired ISC
I dont have my good exhaust since my AWD swap, so i am running an open DP that doesnt have provisions for a rear O2... Im not even sure if its plugged in or just sitting in the open air, but as far as i know, the rear O2 should effect any engine control anyways
I do not have any kind of FIAV delete or modifications
I havent ran it long enough to get warm.... um.. idk
Obviously with a SMIM, i have done emission and evap delete. All the sensors are connected(wires) but not connected to any vacuums. I am showing code for EVAP purge control valve circuit.
I am on stock ecu/tune. Stock injectors too. ECMlink V3 is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow via UPS
They have the greatest customer service and turnaround. Will i be able to troubleshoot anything else when i get it.
