hey guys. just wanted some opinions on my oil pressure...im using 10w-30 btw and going to switch to maybe 20w-40. on a cold start-up at idle i can get anywhere from 30 to 40 psi and when accelerating it can go over 100 psi. now once it warms up i get around 10 psi at idle and at 80 mph at 3500 rpm anywhere from 58 to 62 psi and when accelerating ive seen it go up to 80 - 90 psi.
would this be considered normal? could the pressure relief valve spring be stuck? maybe just need thicker oil?
also i saw on all data the specified oil pressure at idle is 11.4 psi and in arizona temperatures it recommends 20w-40 oil.

The thicker oil will make the pressures higher both cold and hot...period. What kind of guage are you reading your pressures off of miguelmcv? Is it a stock or aftermarket guage? If it's a stock guage I would take it with a grain of salt, as they can be a little misleading.
