So I need a new radiator and I would like to look into getting a all aluminum radiator, but I would like a radiator that would fit in the front support of the car to "hide" the radiator and add more open space to the engine bay. Does any one know how I could find one to fit.

You can go with a half radiator setup, and free up quite a bit of room in the engine bay. Other than that, in order to "hide" a full size, is to customize brackets to hold it in place, and have no AC.

hey i want to do this mod too, my question is
if i run a honda radiator where can i get one?
can i use it for Daily Drive?
and last, what i do with the extra fan?

If looking at the motor the fan on the left is the ac fan im guessing you deleted the ac since most people who turbo delete their ac this fan is pointless the fan on the right is the fan that cuts on when the car gets hot. You could mount the honda radiator and have the right fan on the radiator and just throw away the left fan or mount the ac fan to the frame and have the rad on the right of the car.

Has anyone tried running a fan on the 420a in the large opening at the bottom drivers side of the engine bay, to pull air out of the engine bay and towards the ground?

Kind of like a PC Tower

pull air through the Radiator and push the air now heated by the engine bay out towards the ground.

Our cars are way too low to the ground for this, LOL but I like the nerd power goin on here.

I cant draw to well but I'm trying to draw SOMETHING up. I'm thinking a fan that would have to relativly small and slim. Custom brackets, wired in directly to the battery (swithced activated inside car). Not fully outside the engine bay but flush. Of course you have to take in consideration speed bumps and scraping. Maybe a 8 in or 10 could fit down in there.... aluminum shroud and bam.... your done

Not against your ideas, but im trying to hide the radiator in the front support to increase room in the engine bay for my future turbo, so adding fans would be ill ideal. But if you want to pull air out of the engine bay using a fan go with a vacuum Attachment style at the back of the engine bay under the intake with 4 in piping and run it back as an exhaust pipe so you can have duel exhaust with out losing hp. make the box 1in wide 27 in long and 6in high

Holycrap I never thought of that...that would also keep the engine bay considerably cooler. for your radiator, have you thought about just relocating it?

How does the half radiators work in everyday dd situations?. i am carious, i haven't seen anybody down here where i live that use half radiators. I was thinking about using half radiators awhile back.

LOL I just thought of this idea and it will be completely hidden, and you can get a computer fan from best buy to make it work, and Im not sure how well they work with dsms. Im trying to figure that out if I knew how I would just create a custom radiator for this project. As for relocation too much weight will be added due to extra hose and coolant, to relocate to the rear of the car, Im trying to relocate it to the inside of the front support. where the ac condenser used to be.

summit or jegs would be your best bet. That is the same setup I plan on doing with my DSM. Just measure out the area you'd like the radiator to cover and you can easily find one around those demensions. Becool or other brands.

There arent many aluminum radiator options available for my 420a. I've gone the ebay route and received the rad for the 4g63. Sent it back. Summit racing rads are for the 4g63 as well just got off the phone with them. I dont want to use the OEM style rads.

I really cant seem to find a 420a Aluminum radiator application. My last shot is Mishimoto's Dodge Neon radiator. Almost every site and seller thinks that all the eclipse's use a 4g63.
