Well ok heres the deal, I bought a '95 GS-T today. $500. The thing needs a new paint job, and to be put back together. Got there, the engine and Trans. were both out of the car, everything looks like its all there. Loaded it up brought it home. Checked the engine for crankwalk and such, doesn't seem to have any problems. Tranmission seems fine, he said it was stuck in 2nd, but that ain't that big a deal. Was this deal just so lucky? Tell me what you guys think.

In my experience, a good deal is where you think you ripped him off, and he"s laughing on the way to the bank. A bad deal is where you think you paid too much and he thinks he sold it too cheap. LOL

Car is worth $500 just parting it out probably.

I'm planning on fixing it up so I have another DSM. The body is in pretty good shape just need to sand it down and fix a few blemishes. I had always wanted a turbo one, but never thought I would find one as cheap as I did. The RS i have in my pic is my daily driver. I had originally planned on doing a lot to it, but because I found this I'm gonna do all those plans to this one.

Well, some would have their debates.

bottom line, you bought it and made that decision. that goes without saying.

you were willing to pay what you did, so sure its a good deal for you!

well heres one photo of it

I got a complete running driving 95 TSi AWD for $500 last fall. Paint was clean, had a few rust spots. Needed a good interior cleaning and a turbo, which I had lying around already. Not a bad deal though.

Did it come with a title? I would call that a heck of a deal if its on the up and up, and you can do the work yourself.

yep came with a clean title and everything. I spent most of the day sorting through all of the parts and putting the interior back together. Everything is there that I can see, theres a few broken interior pieces, but thats expected. The only thing I could not find was a pair of plugs wires, shoot if thats all I need to buy and the engine runs, I'm way more than happy.
