scratches in wrist pin hole.

My rod has scratches where the wrist pins slide in. Are they still usable?

If these are 1g rods which are pressed on i wouldn't worry about it. if they are aftermarket rods that have a free floating wrist pin I wouldn't use them, or i'd have them line honed.

Ah, I'm at work. Pics uploaded from sites like photobucket or similar sites don't show up here due to websence. But usually if there is a pic there is a large gap in the post, and the post doesnt have any large gaps either. So that is why I assumed there were no pics.

I have to agree. If they are pressed pins, those scracthes will not be an issue as there is no movement of the pin in the rod. If they are floating pins, those scratches will be an issue. Depending on the depth of the scrathes, they may be able to hone them out.
