Yep, this is yet another no start dsm thread. Please help out me and my buddy.
So my friend just bought a 99 gst with a 6 bolt swap. The swap was done by a 5 year old. Shit isnt right with it. Its a complete mess. On to the story... So one day my buddy went to start his car, and the pedal went to the floor. So I figured it was the slave, we replaced it and bleed it correctly. We got pressure back in the pedal, but it still wouldnt start. This is what we have checked so far:
We have spark
Fuel pressure
Injectors are firing
Timing is spot on
We changed spark plugs and the old plugs were fauled horribly. We put new ones in and it still wouldnt start. When we took the brand new ones out 3 out of the 4 were covered in oil. Figured shit, the piston rings are done. We do a compression test and here are the results
1: 50
2: 0
3: 110
4: 145
Wouldnt it still start with the compression on the two cylinders bad??
Why was it running fine before the slave went out? With no signs of rough idle or anything?
Help us out guys, thanks a ton.
